Troubleshooting

1. Install the latest version of Flash
To best experience all the video streaming features, users should have the latest version of the free Flash Player.
Download Flash Player

2. Check your firewall settings
Typically on a PC, there is a need for extensive security, so your firewall settings may be blocking the content or restricting the applications available to your web browser. Go to the "Start" menu and select the Control Panel. Then select "Windows Firewall." Check to see that your browser and Flash are not being blocked. You may have to click on the "Exceptions" tab to see which applications are being allowed.

3. Check your connection speed
If you are using a wireless connection, or if you are sharing your internet connection with others, you may not be able to view the webcast successfully. You can check your download speed by visiting various speed-check sites such as http://www.speakeasy.net (test page will open in a new window). If the download speed results are consistently below 800 kilobytes per second, you could have intermittent problems with the video feed, or not be able to connect to the webcast at all. For best performance, connect your computer directly to your high-speed source (modem, router, etc.).
